Bringing his QMA-nominated indie/shoegaze act back to Fortitude Valley for the first time in 2024, Alex Edwards and his band will gladly unite with the wholesome folk-rock melodies and earnest lyrics within friends Harding's House. Across these two acts lies conscientious, DIY efforts to transform their up-and-coming status in the Brisbane music scene to something artistically memorable. Indeed, if you can get along to this non-ticketed showcase, you'll surely witness two groups who are doing their best to tunefully contribute to the brilliant buzz of contemporary Aussie music. Special guest artists from Hervey Bay QLD, Harding's House are playing a free show at Tribe Clubhouse on Friday December 15th. Doors open at 6pm for a 7pm start. Opening the night, My Daydreams are a Brisbane-based 18 year old twin sister duo. They perform heart-felt originals featuring beautiful vocal harmonies and unique, entrancing melodies. At 8pm, Brisbane 4 piece band Cosmica will take to the stage, to showcase a passionate delivery of their original songs with exciting musicianship and great energy. At 9pm, Harding's House will close out the evening. For those of you who don't know Harding's House, they are a family band who write, record and perform original music that touches on topics such as addiction, mental health, grief, empowerment and other facts of life. Harding's House are passionate about connecting with their audiences, and will be dropping a new single "Wasting Away" on December 20th. They will also be performing at Initiation NYE Festival on the New Years Eve weekend in the Gold Coast Hinterland.
